We should not underestimate or overlook the power of the Lord’s tender mercies. The simpleness, the sweetness, and the constancy of the tender mercies of the Lord will do much to fortify and protect us in the troubled times in which we do now and will yet live. When words cannot provide the solace we need or express the joy we feel, when it is simply futile to attempt to explain that which is unexplainable, when logic and reason cannot yield adequate understanding about the injustices and inequities of life, when mortal experience and evaluation are insufficient to produce a desired outcome, and when it seems that perhaps we are so totally alone, truly we are blessed by the tender mercies of the Lord and made mighty even unto the power of deliverance (see 1 Ne. 1:20).

Going Ons

Lizzy was invited to a birthday party this weekend. It was a princess party and they all dressed up as princesses. Here is our Beautiful Cinderella!!

My sister and her husband went out of town for a few days and one of their girls got to come and stay with us for a couple nights. I love this, it actually makes my job easier. They go down stairs and play for hours at a time in fact tonight they cleaned up the basement as they played. Our basement is unfinished except for the one room ShiAnne and Lizzy share but seeing as how I am married to a carpet guy we have a puzzle of carpet pieces on the floor and that is where we keep all the toys. We love Ahnika!!!

Cookie Cravings!!! Shiloh decided he needed some chocolate chip cookies tonight so he went to work at it. Notice the goatee in the picture he has been trying to grow a goatee for about a week now but despite all the hair on his head and eyebrow his beard is quite sparse, it doesn't lead to the best goatee. He just kind of looked scruffy. On Sunday he decided it didn't look that good. Tonight he shaved it off.

After I posted this picture I realized you can hardly see his goatee. Good thing I pointed it out to you it would have been a shame to miss.
