We should not underestimate or overlook the power of the Lord’s tender mercies. The simpleness, the sweetness, and the constancy of the tender mercies of the Lord will do much to fortify and protect us in the troubled times in which we do now and will yet live. When words cannot provide the solace we need or express the joy we feel, when it is simply futile to attempt to explain that which is unexplainable, when logic and reason cannot yield adequate understanding about the injustices and inequities of life, when mortal experience and evaluation are insufficient to produce a desired outcome, and when it seems that perhaps we are so totally alone, truly we are blessed by the tender mercies of the Lord and made mighty even unto the power of deliverance (see 1 Ne. 1:20).

Vacation Day 2? and 3

On the second day we went to Disneyland but sadly we left our camera bag on the counter at the hotel. My sister took lots of pictures for us but I haven't got them from her yet so no pictures but we went to Disneyland two more day so still lots of pictures from Disneyland. On the third day we went to Seaworld.

And were off!

ShiAnne and Lizzy, Lizzy and ShiAnne

Left to right, top to bottom: (pic 1) Taking a break, (pic 2) I hope I never run into the shark they got that jaw from. (pic 3) It took a little while and some help from mom and dad but Lizzy finally got up the courage to touch a sting ray, (pic 4) after that the star fish were no big deal.

Left to right, top to bottom: (pic 1) Seeing the sea life is not the only thing to do in Seaworld you can also climb a rock and (pic 2) when you get tired of watching the see life no need to wait for the rest of the family you can just take off on your own. (pic 3) Starfish and sea urchins, who wouldn't want to touch them? (pic 4) Now this is the type of sea life that isn't scary to touch.

Gideon found napping in the stroller to work just fine....

(We ate lunch out of the back of the cars most days, to save a little or a lot of money and you seam to eat healthier.)
Jill tried to get some zzzzz in the car but it didn't last long......

and I thought I could do as the polar bears do and hibernate in a snow den but it was a little to cold for my liking. I guess we wouldn't be napping today.

After everyone recovered from nap time we took in a viewing of the the Sea Lion and Otter show, very fun.

That was our day at Seaworld.

Home Again and Vacation day 1

Hey we are finally back it was a long vacation but it was tons of fun and I took tons of pictures. I'm trying to figure out how to blog about it all without it becoming over whelming. I think I will report on our trip a day at a time so here it goes.
We left on Tuesday around 5 p.m. and drove to the Nevada/California State Line and Stayed at Whiskey Pete's, what a name for a hotel. Oh well, we were only there to rest our heads for a few hours then we got up and were on the road again.

Wednesday Morning we drove the rest of the way into Oceanside, Where we had an awesome place to stay. We went with my sister Jill and her husband Cameron. They own a time share and turned in their stay for two awesome suites. These rooms were larger then out last apartment. They had a master bedroom, a Kitchen and dinning room area, a living room, and a patio.

This is the view from our Patio. We were so close to the beach that when I forgot my camera. I just walked back to the room and got it. There was an ally way, a row of houses, a road and then we were on the beach. That's my kind of living.

Our family loved the beach and we had so much fun. It made us want to live in So. California just so we could go to the beach. The beach wasn't busy and the weather was great so everyone could just run and play and have their freedom.

Blessings

Answers to prayers: even the little ones. I offered a little prayer this week to find something that I needed to find before it became a big deal and shortly afterward I had an idea where to look and there it was.
Much needed and looked forward to vacations and a sister who makes it possible: Maybe I have gone on about this to much but we are very excited and it is very much looked forward to. Special thanks to Jill and Cameron who called several months ago and offered to pay for our hotel if we came with them. There for making the trip possible.

Gas prices that continue to fall: I know I have mentioned this before but they just continue to fall and and I have become obsessed with checking the price every time I go pass our gas station. As it continues to fall it is a happy little spot in my day. Silly, I know.
Doctors: I know I have mention this before but when my kids actually get sick enough to go to the doctors it is always so nice that they can make them and so many other people better. Lizzy had a head cold last week and this week it turned to some secondary infections. Her ears were infected, her throat was all red and sore and worst of all she had infection in her eyes that made them all goopy like new babies get only a lot grosser on a big kid. She is all better now.

Little Man

Big Shoes to Fill!

Last night I was a little late getting dinner on the table. Gideon was not very happy about this and when he couldn't wait any longer he decided to take matters into his own hands and "set the couch" himself. Even though he wasn't very happy when I asked his to say cheese he still smiled. Funny boy!

p.s. Stay tuned I am working on another big project. As we speak I am waiting for the paint to dry. We hope to have it completely finished and pictures posted before we leave for vacation in a week.

It's who I am...

I am...Ina Michelle (sometimes the Michelle is important sometimes it is not).
I Want....to have a great adventure.
I Have....a home and family that I love.
I Wish.....we could travel more.
I Hate... being asked if you are pregnant when you are not. I have been asked twice this week and I not! So I will try to work on my tummy problem and would you all try to work on not asking questions that just make people feel bad?
I Fear... the direction our wold is heading but after General Conference yesterday I am trying to have the faith not to.
I Hear.... The rain on the roof, Shiloh making breakfast, Gideon playing with toys and the silents of the girls being at Grandma's house.
I Search... for more and stronger faith.
I Always... like to eat good food.
I Usually... forget something, somewhere.
I Am Not... done and I will get better.
I miss...laughing like I did as a teenager.
I love... Shiloh!!!
I Never.... have my house as clean as it probably should be.
I Rarely... spend money frivolously or on a whim I have to be very careful with it.
I Cry... when I am stressed out.
I am Not Always... as productive as I should or could be.
I Lose... it feels like everything but most often I find myself looking for the ward list.
I'm Confused... about what Shiloh should do for a living or if he is just going to have to lay carpet the rest of his life.
I Need... to be loved, to laugh a little more, to work on my faith, to go on vacation, to organize my house and have to a little more money to make things a little less stressful.
I Should...go dance in the rain that just began to pour.
I Dream... of the adventures I hope life still hold, of babies still to come, different places to live, even more different places to travel to, and of achievements met and celebrated by both me, Shiloh, and our children.

I now tag Amber, Jessica, and Lori
