We should not underestimate or overlook the power of the Lord’s tender mercies. The simpleness, the sweetness, and the constancy of the tender mercies of the Lord will do much to fortify and protect us in the troubled times in which we do now and will yet live. When words cannot provide the solace we need or express the joy we feel, when it is simply futile to attempt to explain that which is unexplainable, when logic and reason cannot yield adequate understanding about the injustices and inequities of life, when mortal experience and evaluation are insufficient to produce a desired outcome, and when it seems that perhaps we are so totally alone, truly we are blessed by the tender mercies of the Lord and made mighty even unto the power of deliverance (see 1 Ne. 1:20).

Fun Times at the State Fair and Boondocks!

A couple weekends ago we got to go with the Big Green Bean Family to the Utah State Fair. It was a lot of fun. The have a couple of little girls too. First we went through a little hands on the farm exhibit it was all hands on and the kids enjoyed it.

They had these all over the fair. Clockwise: ShiAnne, Gideon, Shiloh & Lizzy

The kids had a lot of fun petting all the animals.

What a crazy bunch.

The Girls!

We just walked around enjoying the sights and eating the food. We had a deep fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich just for the novelty of it. It was good but mostly it was just a pb&j with extra bread and a crunchy outside. Thanks Big Bean and Mama Bean for taking us to the fair! We will have to do it again next year and go see my prize winning quilt sample. I have been looking at patterns.
The the next weekend we went to Boondocks fun center. I had recieved a gift certificate to go here last Christmas. It is both inside and outside so now that we are having perfect weather we decided it was time to go. We went miniature golfing, which ShiAnne had been asking to do for forever and then we went inside and played a bunch of arcade games. They had a photo both. We tried to get all five us in there but it didn't work. So then we just let ShiAnne and Lizzy do it. In the third picture of them ShiAnne fell off the little stole they were both kneeling on. It was pretty funny. Everybody had a good time.

I know I can't blame Tage quite yet for having to watch the Disney Channel! Oh well! The mother on WOWP is not a wizard and in fact their dad isn't one anymore either. He gave up his powers to marry their mom...I can give you a better explanation later! We would love to come to HMS3 with you guys! Just let us know when and where...I bet you can already purchase tickets! Thanks!
