We should not underestimate or overlook the power of the Lord’s tender mercies. The simpleness, the sweetness, and the constancy of the tender mercies of the Lord will do much to fortify and protect us in the troubled times in which we do now and will yet live. When words cannot provide the solace we need or express the joy we feel, when it is simply futile to attempt to explain that which is unexplainable, when logic and reason cannot yield adequate understanding about the injustices and inequities of life, when mortal experience and evaluation are insufficient to produce a desired outcome, and when it seems that perhaps we are so totally alone, truly we are blessed by the tender mercies of the Lord and made mighty even unto the power of deliverance (see 1 Ne. 1:20).

Up date ShiAnne and gymnastics

The results are back we took ShiAnne to pass offs Thursday night and there were a ton of girls there she had fun and tried hard but at last she wasn't quite ready to move up to the next level but we are all good with it. ShiAnne was only a little disapointed nothing to worry about. No tears or anything. They said they were going to take 12 girls but at last they only moved up 8 girls so I think they were being really strict and we are back to the original plan to try something new. We are going to do nothing for December a gift to all of us and then in January we will start both girls in dance. This should be a fun new phase. They told us they thought if she tried out again in May at the next pass offs they thought she would be ready to move up but I'm not happy with her class right now and I think is is time for some thing new. It is kind of weird to be done we have spent so much time in that gym but this will be a grand new adventure.

Wow. She looks pretty good to me in those pictures. I think its good to give kids lots of different kinds of experiences though. Dance should be lots of fun.
